Bassett Acoustics was engaged by the South Australia National Football League to review a design submission provided direct to the SANFL for the replacement of the public address system
The SANFL did not have full confidence in the process of having a supplier / installer doing both the design and the installation of the system and felt that they may have been at a disadvantage due to their limited knowledge in Public Address systems engineering and hence contacted Bassett Acoustics to provide a review of the proposed system.
During our review, design items were brought to the attention of the SANFL, and on review, requested that we produce a performance specification to go to open tender.
Bassett Acoustics provided an EASE (Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers) stadium model that was to ultimately become the benchmark performance design standard for the new system.
Through the use of judicious design and continuous modeling we were able to reduce the cost to the client significantly and provide a system that will perform well into the next decades.
Bassett Acoustics was actively involved in this project from concept design through to the end of installation and also provided final commissioning testing review using MLSSA (Maximum Length Sequence System Analyzer) and EASERA (Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers Real-time Analysis) to provide assurance to the client that the design and system integrity is intact.
