BAR Skills on Major New Projects
BAR brings specialist expertise and added value to a range of major projects internationally and around the country. BAR's involvement allows new and exciting fields of engineering to be explored, often researching and developing new solutions in building technology never used before.BAR recently completed a collaboration research project with the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) to develop a design guide for Solar Cooling Systems. This major project with the AGO explored and investigated the potential for applying solar cooling techniques in a wide range of building types across a vast range of geographic locations around Australia.
Some of the major Australian projects Bassett Applied Research has been involved on include:
- • Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne
- • National Australia Bank @ Victoria Harbour
- • The Australian Synchrotron
- • Centrelink Headquarters, Tuggeranong, ACT
- • GreenEdge Development, Banyule City Council, Vic
