John is a Principal of Bassett and Manager of Bassetts operation in Western Australia. John is also the Director of National Marketing for the company. He is a qualified mechanical engineer, coming initially from Ireland before relocating to Australia. John had been based in our Brisbane office for ten years before relocating to Western Australia, and has been involved with some of the company's most significant projects, such as:

- Optus Playhouse, Queensland Cultural Centre, Brisbane
- Geraldton Hospital Redevelopment, Geraldton

John has been a student of martial arts for over fifteen years, having represented Australia in Karate. He enjoys most sporting pursuits, and holds particular passions for snowboarding and skiing, scuba diving and windsurfing. John is an amateur musician and is also completing Masters Degree in Law.
