Andrew is a Principal of Bassett and Bassett's ACT Manager. Andrew's career started in 1986 with the North Queensland Electricity Board in Townsville, where he gained experience in high voltage transmission and distribution systems and power generation. In 1993 Andrew commenced a site engineers position in Columbo, Sri Lanka, which he found to be excellent experience both personally and professionally. Andrew also owned his own business selling machinery parts for earthmoving and agricultural equipment. Andrew joined Bassett in 1996 following a successful career in building services consulting in Sydney, prior to relocating to Canberra in 2001.

Andrew has been involved with a number of major international and local projects including:

Andrew has a keen interest in the outdoors and enjoys spending his weekends with his young daughter Tahlia, having lazy café breakfasts, drinking good coffee and red wine. Andrew also does volunteer community work with his local church.
