Kristian is a Principal of Bassett and Adelaide Office Manager. Kristian is a qualified mechanical engineer, holding the Degrees of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering Science.
Coming from a research background, Kristian joined Bassett in 1997 and spent the next five years gaining significant and diverse experience. He moved to London in January 2002, to become Senior Mechanical Engineer and building services Project Manager for the new Wembley National Stadium with an international consulting firm. Kristian returned to Adelaide and rejoined Bassett in November 2004.
Kristian has international experience in engineering consulting, and is most proud of his involvement with the following projects:
- State Library of South Australia Redevelopment
- Flinders University Laboratory upgrades
- Flinders Medical Centre Critical Care Medicine Unit (ICU)
- Port Lincoln Hotel
- Adelaide University Master Planning
- Wembley National Stadium, London UK
Away from work, Kristian likes to travel as far and for as long as possible, and may be found on the ski slopes or in the wilderness behind a camera tripod. When at home, he enjoys Adelaide’s fine offering of food and wine, and weekend sprints through winding hillside roads.
